PRISON BREAK
SECOND CASE AT WELLINGTON (P.A.) WELLINGTON, .Tune 27. Wellington had ils second prison break within a month when Kenneth Hugh Bennetts, aged 20, escaped from Mount Crawford prison about 4 o’clock this afternoon. A search party was quickly organised, but up to a late hour he had not been apprehended. Bonnets was serving a term of three years for breaking and entering. He was sentenced in the Supreme Court in Napier to four years, but the term was later reduced. Of medium build, be is about Tift llin in height, has light brown hair, brown eyes, and is extensively tattooed on both arms. Early this month three prisoners escaped from Mount Crawford, and two of them got ns far as Palmerston North before they were recaptured. The other man gave himself up in Wellington after lose than 48 hours’ liberty.
