BANK ROBBED
SOME 250,000 DOLLARS TAKEN TORONTO, April 24. Three armed masked men robbed the Royal Bank of Canada 'of 250,000 dollars late last niglit. The bandits entered the bank’s branch in West Central Toronto about 9.15 p.m., gagged the caretaker, his wife and daughter, and also a visitor who called on the caretaker’s family about 10.30 p.m. Then while one robber guarded the caretaker, the others snatched his keys and riflled the safety deposit boxes. It was not until about three hours after the bandits got away that the caretaker’s wife managed to free herself, consequently the police were not informed until early this morning.
