The British Ambassador (Sir Noel Charles) and the Italian Foreign Minister (Count Si'orza) signed the AngloItalian Commercial Agreement, under which Italy permitted the transfer of her credits in England to hard currency areas, and Britain renounces the rights to reparations from Italy Sir Noel Charles said the fact marked the beginning of an area of normal financial and commercial relations between the two countries.
