MINOR BORDER CHANGE
. CLAIMS BY BELGIUM (Rec. 11 a.m.) BRUSSELLS, Dec. 4. Belgium, in a note handed to the Foreign Ministers’ Council on November 14 sought only a minor border change and an equitable share in the exploitation of German resources m claims on Germany, said a Government statement summarising the note. The sole territorial claim calls tor the straightening of the border area to include in Belgian territory the railway line linking the towns of bt. Vith and Eupen running through the German town of Monschau. Belgium asks for compensation equivalent to the advantages other Allies are able to obtain by reason of their occupation, and for effective guarantees against any measures that might be taken in Germany, affecting transport from natural routes to Belgian ports.
