RUDDERLESS YAWL
FREIGHTER RESCUES CREW (Rec. 11.45) NEW YORK, Oct. 4. Sighting a floundering rudderless yawl 125 miles off the New York coast a freighter rescued six men from it, but the skipper, Frederick Wright, stayed aboard the craft, which the coastguard is towing to port. Wright left New London, Connecticut, on September 2G to sail to Australia.
