METHVEN TROTTING CLUB PROSPECTS FOR TO-MORROW (By “Durbar”) The Metliven Trotting Club will hold its annual meeting at the Methven racecourse to-morrow. Good acceptances have been received and some good racing should result. The secretary of the club (Mr J. F. Stonel) reports that the roof of the grandstand which was blown off a few weeks ago has been replaced. The snow has cleared away, the grass racetrack was rolled yesterday, and if there is no more rain, it will be in good order for Saturdays racing.
