TRUCK DRIVER KILLED

ACCIDENT AT PUNI (P.A.) AUCKLAND, October 3. The driver of a light motor-truck' Avas killed when the vehicle failed to negotiate an acute bend near the Puni Hall on the Pukekohe-Puni road this afternoon. The victim was Manuel Lawrence Silva, aged 24, single, of the soldiers’ settlement, Te Puni. William Forbes, aged 22, married, a brother-in-laAv of the driver, was admitted to hospital with a broken arm. The second passenger suffered shock and was 'given attention a Puni.
