CONSTABLE N. BOAG RETIRES FROM FORCE v- After 11 years in the Police ' Force, Constable Neville Boag has resigned, and at present is on. retiring leave. Late yesterday afternoon he was the guest of hongur at a farewell ceremony in the Courthouse at Ashburton. There were present- practically all members of the local Force and some from country centres, also representatives of the Transport Department and the full court staff. The large attendance was a tribute to the popularity or the retiring officer, who has canieu • out his duties with conspicuous abuIty Short speeches of farewell were made by all present and ex-Senioi-qprseant J. F.
