DAFFODIL DAY YESTERDAY PLUNKET SOCIETY’S FUNDS The record sum of about £420 was raised by the Ashburton, branch of the Plunket Society on its annual Daffodil Day yesterday. Some small amounts have still to come in, but it is expected that the final amount will be about £420. The proceeds exceed last year's record figure by about £63.
