Strike in Trieste. —About 7000 Munfalcone dockyard xvorkers who began a sit-down strike on Monday as a protest against the entry of British soldiers and civilian police into the yards are continuing the strike until the detachment is withdrawn, says Reuter’s Trieste correspondent. The soldiers and police were sent to the shipyard by the Military Government to maintain order and to prevent the beating up of workers.
