ENJOYABLE CARD EVENING There Avas a good attendance at a most enjoyable social and euchre evening conducted by the Ashburton Post and Telegraph Social Club in the Foresters’ Hall last evening. The euchre Avas won as folloAVs: Men: Mr J. Whearty 1, Mr N. L. Heisenbuttel 2. Women: Mrs E. Childs 1, Mrs Hagen 2. Music for dancing Avas provided by Mrs Gordon’s Orchestra. Novelty dances were won by Miss G. Greer and Mr B. Parsons, Miss B. Corbett and Mr B. Benke, Miss M. BoAvkett and Mr D. Franks and Miss D. Childs and Mr J McPherson. Mr A. H. Johnston was master of ceremonies.
