After a meeting of the Maori Chapel Committee' yesterday, Sir Apirana Ngata announced that he believed the cost of the chapel proposed for Wellington Cathedral to be about £7OOO. Bishop Holland said he hoped the Maori people would raise that sum as their contribution to the cathedral.
