ALLAHABAD DISTURBANCES (Rec. 11.0 a.m.) ALLAHABAD, August. 23. The police fired on a crowd during disturbances. Brickbats were thrown in one locality. A 24-hour curfew has been imposed. The situation in the city is tense.
