CARGO LEFT BEHIND
WATERSIDERS ATTEND FOOTBALL MATCH (P.A.) DUNEDIN, This Day. , When the trans-Tasman steamer Karetu sailed yesterday from Pori Chalmers for Sydney, via Wellington, she was compelled to leave a quantity of cargo for Wellington on the wharf. The reason for this was. that the Avaterside workers, ceased work at mid-day in order to attend the football match’ between Otago and the IviAvi teams.
