ITALIAN PRISONERS
OFFERED TO FIGHT FOR ALLIES SYDNEY, July 31. Among the 172 Italian prisoners of war who sailed by the Moreton Bay for Naples were some who had offered to tight on the side' of the Allies after the defeat of Italy. Many said they were sorry to lie leaving Australia, and that they had been well treated here.
■ The Italian repatriation party is the second to leave Australia since September, when 800 were sent back.
