POLICE DRIVE
TERRORISTS IN PALESTINE (Rec. 12.15) JERUSALEM, Jan. 1. Four hundred persons were detained for questioning in a combined police and military drive against terrorists to-day. . ~ It was the fourth round-up since the outrages last week. Seven were arrested when a quantity of arms and explosives were found. The Lebanese frontier authorities to-day impounded a consignment of goods from Jewish factories, according to the Tel-Aviv newspaper “Haaretz,” which joined in the Press protests against the Arab League s boycott. „ . 1 The Labour newspaper “Davar said the boycott was political rather than economical, and the Government should act quickly and energetically.
