ASHBURTON STOCK MARKET Concluding sales at the Ashburton stock market yesterday were: Fats—l 4 ewes at 20s lOd, 7 ewes at 20s 4d, 8 at 13s lOd, 3 at 17s lOd, 9 wethers at 26s lOd.

Freezing Sheep—64 lambs at 32s lOd, 55 at 29s KM, 105 at 29s lOd, 102 6- and 8-tooth ewes at 28s. Cattle—Heifers at £lO 12s 6d and £6 17s 6d; steers at £7 7s 6d and £7 2s 6d. CLEARING SALE AT VALETTA A most successful clearing sale on account' of the Estate of the late Williamm Langdon was conducted at Valetta yesterday by Messrs Pyne, Gould Guinness, Ltd. The principal items sold included the following: Live-stock—2oß ewes and lombs at 17s 3d, 278 at 21s, 98 at 18s, 106 at 225; Shropshire rams at 3£gns and 22gns; -steers at £ls 10s; 2 yearling heifers at £6, 1 cow in calf at £8 ss, 1 5-year gelding at £lB, bay geldings at £6, £8 and £lO 10s; bay mare at £l4 10s, black mare at £ls 10s, bay hack at £l3 10s, pony at £l6 10s.
