NINETY-FIFTH BIRTHDAY Mrs Mary Styles, of Cox- Street, one of Ashburton’s oldest residents, to-day celebrated her 95th birthday. Mrs Styles came to live in Ashburton. ->i y Trn g °n Paisley, Scotland Mrs Styles, who was the oldest of 13 elm dren, went to worlc at the carpet mills of Thom, Lawson and Cameron, in Glasgow, at an early age. Six years after marrying Mr MeCauslin, she was left a widow with three children, at the age of 25.
