ROBBERS THROW DIAMONDS AWAY (Rec. 11.30 a.m.) TEL-AVIV, Dec. 17. Six young men. threw away diamonds worth £20,000 sterling after a daring daylight robber to-day. They overcame an escort, seized diamonds belonging to several cuttir.«j and polishing firms and fled in a car with the police in pursuit. The robbers fired shots ineffectively and escaped after dropping the bag of diamonds.
