ASHBURTON SILVER BAND The solo contests of the Ashburton Silver Band were held in the Foresters’ Hall, on Saturday, when there was. a large attendance of the public. The judge. Air W. Stevenson of the Woolslon Rand, was impressed with the high standard and good tone of the playing generally.
