HEAVY COST TO JAPANESE. (Rec. 2 p.m.) ‘LONDON, August 22. The Burma campaign cost the Japanese 128,0(MF killed, states an official announcement. In heavy fighting during the break-out, Tor each Allied soldier killed 150 Japanese fell or were taken prisoner.
