FOUR YEARSS RECORD IN SIGHT. If Ashburton can continue to raise the required £705 of its National Savings quota every Aveek until October, it will have completed four eonsecutiA r e years of unbroken successes, according to a statement to-day by the chairman of .the Ashburton National Savings Committee (Mr A. A. McDonald). The amount in hand for this week when the Post Office closed yesterday afternoon was £213, leaA'ing £492 to be raised by mid-day on Saturday.
