WEARY SUFFERER.
TRIBUTE TO ALLAN YOUNG. (Contributed.) The passing of Allan Young lias brought rest and peace to a weary sufferer. During the 24 years, since he was a boy of 13 years, he has been gn‘ invalid, confined to chair or bed, but his life has been a great example to all who came to know his great spirit expressed as it was, in a coinage, and a patience, and a cheerfulness, which could only come from a sterling Christian character. The community is the poorer for his going, but rich in the memory of one who was loved by all. When he was well .enough, Allan, In his wheeled chair, was a familiar figure at the bowling green in the summer and at the football ground in the winter, where he 'was an interested spectator, and Avhere his friends Avere pleased to gather round him. The sudden death of his father was a great grief to him, and he never recovered from the shock. Allan Avas a great favourite and an ideal patient in the hospital, Avhere his boyish face always carried a smile of welcome for everyone. He ahvays spoke in the highest terms of appreciation of the treatment he received there. “They also serve, who only stand and wait.”
