PETROL PRICES.
REDUCED IN BRITAIN LONDON, Aug. 21. It is officially announced that petrol and deisel oil prices will be reduced 2d and Id a gallon respectively from to-day. Petrol will be Is llid a gallon. Paraffin, creosote and bitumen are also reduced. The reductions are a result of decreased importation costs following the end of the European war and the cessation of Atlantic convoys.
