BRIGANDS ACTIVE.
FOOD TRAINS ATTACKED, (Rec. 12.15) BRATISLAVA, Aug. 21. According to UNRRA officials, Hungarian brigands are attacking and pillaging food trains, and they threaten a stoppage or the delay of supplies for Central Europe. The Brigands are reported to be mostly disbanded soldiers. UNRRA trains may be discontinued pending the resumption of shipping on the Danube which, according to the Russian authorities, is now free of mines.
