THE TINWALD STOCK MARKET. PRICES FIRM AT LATE RATES USEFUL ENTRY IN PENS. There was little variation in values ; for fat sheep at the Tinwald stock market to-day, prices being on a par with those at the Ashburton sale last week. There was a useful entry, with a good yarding of stores, mostly owe hoggets. Ewes ranged from ISs 7d to 25s 10d, on account of clients, and lambs brought up to 37s Id. R. B. McMillan, of Methven. topped the market for wethers with two at 39s 4d. Principal sales up to noon were: Fat Ewes —On account of W. J. Deal (Eiffelton), 10 from 23s to 24s 7d; clients, 26 from 19s 7d to 23s 4d, 8 at 20s 7d, 19 at 20s Id, 6 at 20s 4d, 7 at 22s 4cl, sat 19s Id. 2at 24s 4d, 6at 23s lOd, 5 at 25s lOd, S at 21s 7d,' 6 at 20s, 20 at 21s lOd, 11 at 20s lOd, 1 at 23s 4(1, 2 at 21s 4d, 5 at ISs 7d, 5 at 20s Id. 1 at 23s 6d, 5 at 23s Id. Fat Lambs. —Four at 29s 10d, 4 at 30s 10d, 4 at 31s 7d, 3 at 37s Id, 2 at 31s 7d.
