KING’S BIRTHDAY HOURS. ' The hours of attendance at the Ashburton Post Office will be as follow: Telephone Exchange: Open continuously. Telegraph Branch: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Other Branches: Closed all day. Telegrams accepted at Telegraph Office, first floor, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mails for the principal offices close at 9 a.m. Street posting-boxes in the business area will be cleared at 8.45 a.m.
