CYCLIST INJURED.

RESULT OF A COLLISION. As the result of a collision betAveen a cyclist and an Army vehicle at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and West Street shortly after 11 a.m. today, Mrs Lilian May Mayne, of Walnut Avenue, the cyclist, was admitted to the Ashburton Public Hospital, suffering from a scalp wound and an injury to her right thigh. Her condition was reported this afternoon to he satisfactory. The driver of the Army vehicle, Avhich Avas going north ulong West Street and turning east into NorthEast, Belt, Avas Sergeant Edward Vincent. A heavy, misty drizzle Avas falling.
