SINGLE BEACHHEAD.
THE LANDINGS AT ELBA. (Rec. 2.5 p.m.) LONDON, June IS. Reuter’s correspondent at Allied Headquarters in Italy reports tonight that three landing-points at Campo Bay, Avliich Avas the main assault area of Elba, have now become a single beachhead, but it has been a hard fight to secure it.
