CORONER’S VERDICT.

INQUEST AFTER SUDDEN DEATH An inquest was held on Saturday evening into the death of Mr Charles Henry Cook, a foreman employed by the County Council, who died suddenly at the Servicemen’s Club on Friday night. The Coroner (Mr E. C. Bathurst) returned a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence of Dr. D. M. Stewart, which was that death was caused by sudden ventricular fibrillation in a fatty infiltrated heart. Evidence of identification was given by Mrs Magdalen May Cook, wife of the deceased.
