WOMEN’S INSTITUTE.

GARDEN PARTY AT HIGHBANK.

A garden party was held by the Highbanlc Women’s Institute at Mrs C. A. Campion’s home. At a short meeting it was decided to bring eggs for the Health Camp to the January meeting. An invitation was received to the Lyndhurst gardeii party.

It was announced that the January meeting would take the form of a Grandma’s Day.

Mrs. Sandrey, who presided, welcomed visitors. The remainder of the afternoon was spent in competitions and a treasurehunt.

After afternoon tea had been served Mrs Sandrey presented Mrs Campion with a gift in appreciation of the use of her garden. Mrs Wilkinson extended good wishes to Private Ruth Sandrey, W.A.A.C.

Mrs C. Hutchison was awarded, first prize in a fancy-dress parade.
