MISSIONARY UNION.
LAGMHOR PRESBYTERIANS. A pleasant afternoon was spent in the Fleniington Church on Wednesday when the closing meeting of the Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union was held, the president (Mrs R. Brown) presiding over a good attendance. The monthly missionary letter proved interesting, portraying the work of the missionaries in China. An address on her recent visit to the General Assembly was given by the president. Mrs K. % Taylor sang Hie solo “Just for To-day.” A vote of thanks was accorded the speaker and soloist on the motion of Mrs W. J. Hollow. Reports of the recently-formed “Busy Bees” were given by Mesdames Brash and Findlay. The sales table did good .business under the direction of . Mrs R. J. Knox. The hostesses were Mesdames K. and Eric Taylor.
