CONDITIONS MILD AND SUNNY. Mild and sunny conditions prevailed at Ashburton to-day. One point of rain fell during the night. Maximum and minimum temperatures yesterday wei*e 57.8 and 46 degrees, compared with 57.8 and 47 on Tuesday. The barometer reading to-day was 29.13 inches, compared with 30.08 yesterday.
