FINE DURING WEEK-END. The weather at Ashburton during the week-end was ideal yesterday, being fine and sunny after a frost of 1.3 degrees. To-day the sun shone brightly from an almost cloudless sky and there was a cool easterly breeze. Maximum and minimum temperatures yesterday, 58.5 and 35.6 degrees compared with 60.8 and 54.9 on Saturday. The barometer * reading to-day is 29.92, against 30.01 yesterday.
