PADDY’S MARKET.
A Paddy’s Market was held in tlie Hinds Centennial Hall on Saturday evening to raise funds for the Red Cross Society. There was a large attendance, keeping the stallholders and sideshow people busy.
Solos were sung by Miss H. Carroll and Miss N. McDonald. The stallholders were: Cake and produce, Mrs Simpson; jumble, Miss A. Frampton and Miss O. Wilson; ice cream, Miss J. Tarbotton; plants, and flowers, Mrs Rickard and Mrs Tarbotton; those holding competitions were, naildriving, Mrs M. Davidson; peanuts, Miss M. Wilson.
