RED CROSS ACTIVITY.
A good deal of material for OA Terseas has been handled by the MidCanterbury Centre of the Red Cross Sobiety lately. Three large parcels of clothing have been dispatched one for sick children in the Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, one for the British Red Cross and one for the Wellington Centre of the Red Ci'oss Society. In addition two large cartons of hospital dressings bandages and other first aid equipment will shortly be sent to two hospitals in the Pacific area. A patchwork quilt made by the Lyunford Junior Branch will also be sent to the Te Tawa Hospital, Timaru.
