THE HEALTH CAMP.
MATTER OF HOLDING DEFERRED DECISION IN SEPTEMBER. A decision regarding the holding of a health camp in the forthcoming summer has been deferred till September, according to a resolution carried by the annual meeting of the Ashburton Health Camp Committee yesterday, when Mr Ej. C. Bathurst presided. The secretary (Mrs M. Constable) Was instructed to inquire whether the school at Mcthven will be available and whether a staff for the camp can he obtained, also to ascertain if children from Ashburton may be accommodated at Glenelg, Christchurch, tho headquarters of the Canterbury Health Camp Association. The financial statement showed a credit balance of £l3B. Officers elected were:—-Chairman, Mr E. C. Bathurst; secretary, Mrs M. Constable; treasurer. Mr J. M, Willoughby; auditor, Mr G. Brown; committee, Mesdamos H. Cooke and E. M. Begg, Miss Jackson, Mr S. G. Macfarlano and Dr. W. R. Ryburn.
