Dr. J. Connor represented the Ashburton Patriotic Committee , at the meeting of the Canterbury ' Provincial Patriotic Council yesterday.
Mrs Arthur Grigg, M.P., after a very uncomfortable time following her operation, is starting to improve rapidly, according to the matron of the hospital in Christchurch where she is a patient. .
