POSTHUMOUS AWARD.

THE CZECHOSLOVAK WAR CROSS

(P.A.) GISBORNE, April 28. The posthumous award of the Czechoslovak War Cross has been made to Flying Officer Kenneth Gray, D.F.C., who was killed ini operations in 1940.

Flying Officer Gray was the twin brother of Squadron Leader Colin Gray, New Zealand’s leading ace. The first news of the Czechoslovak award was when the cross reached Flying Officer Gray’s parents yesterday. An accompanying letter says that tho award was made for courage and gallantry displayed in carrying out operational flights over Prague in 1940,
