SPITFIRES FROM MALTA. (Rec. 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, April 28. Malta’s fighter-bombers to-day attacked the aerodrome on the Island of Lampedusa, bombs bursting among aircraft dispersed on the ground. Spitfires from Malta this, morning destroyed two enemy aircraft, bringing the total score of the Royal Air Force at Malta to 1001.—British Official Wireless.
