CHILLY CONDITIONS TO-DAY. Dark clouds covered the sky above Ashburton to-day. The atmosphere was chilly. There was a maximum reading of 65.1 degrees yesterday and a minimum of 51.1. Temperatures on Thursday were 66.3 and 38.5 degrees. The barometer measured 29.87 inche.j to-day, against 29.68 yesterday.
