ENTERTAINMENTS.
ST. JAMES THEATRE. The double-feature bill for to-night and at two sessions to-morrow is headed by “New York Town,” a romance of the great city and some of the people who live and work in it. Fred Mac Murray, Mary (“Kiss the Boys Good-bye”) Martin and Robert Preston are the chief players in this story of a man and a girl who set out. to eat, drink and be merry on nothing a day. The second big picture is “Mr District Attorney and the Carter Case,” in which James Ellison and Virginia Gilmore are starred. It is another crime-detection story in the series that has become very popular with the many people who like a mystery to solve. The fourth chapter of “Sky Raiders” will be shown to-night and on Saturday afternoon.
