CRUDE OIL.
AMERICA FACES SHORTAGE. WASHINGTON, Oct. 6. America faces a real shortage cf crude oil unless new fields are discovered. Mr Charles Iloeser (former president of -the Independent Petroleum Association of America) warned a subcommittee of the Senate that the annual consumption from proved underground reserves was already exceeding new production and was nowhere being replaced by new discoveries.
