DISCORD IN BALKANS.

ITALIAN AND GERMAN SECTIONS. LONDON, Oct. 6. It is officially announced in Zagreb that the dictator of Croati (M. Pavclitch) is assuming the Ministry of Defence, replacing General Kvaternik, who is granted leave of absence for health reasons. The correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” on the German frontier says: “Leave of absence is tantamount to General Kvaternik’s dismissal, and marks the culmination of bitter political differences between the pro-Italian Pavelitch and the proGerman Kvaternik. It also emphasises the discord between the supporters of Germany and those of Italy within their spheres of interest in the Balkans.”
