IN MADAGASCAR.
BRITISH CAPTURE RAILWAY. LONDON, October 7. Vichy, admits that the British forces have captured Antsirabe, and also the railway between Tamatave and Antananarivo. According to the icliy News Agency, the Royal Air Force attacked a car in which the Governor (M. Annet) was inspecting defence works south of Antsirabe. M. Annet and his accompanying Ministers were not hurt.
' “Fighting is proceeding on the Sambaina plains, where the British are suffering heavy losses,” states the Vichy report.
