The Admiralty announced an engagement off the Belgian coast about midnight on Monday. Units; of our light coastal forces attacked a strong force of enemy torpedo boats and E-boats. One E-boat was set on fire and subsequently blew up. One of our craft is missing and some others sustained superficial damage. With the exception of the missing craft our casualties; were very light.—British Official Wireless.
