SYDNEY, July 7. , “It would be a bad policy for Australia to put another IXJO,(WHPmen into camp unless the facilities for training and equipping them are adequate,” said Mr It. G. Menzies, a former Prime Minister, when lecturing at Adelaide University. It’should be ensured that the added strength which the extra men bring to the fighting services will offset the effect of their subtraction, from productive industry.” Mr Menzies added that Australia’s economy had taken an unprecedented war strain with notable stability.
