LORD BALDWIN'S RAILINGS. PRESENTATION GATES LEFT. (Riec. 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Marcli 4. All Earl Baldwin’s railings and gates have been taken for scrap metal except a pain of gates at the entrance to the drive, which were presented to him on his retirement from the Premiership, said the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works (Mr G. Hicks), replying to a. question in the House of Commons. Captain Graham (Conservative) : Are you aware it is most necessary to leave Earl Baldwin these gates in order to protect him from the mob’s just indignation? Mr Hicks did not reply.
