PURSUERS ELUDED.
DUTCH VESSEL IN THE PACIFIC. (Rec. 12.5) NEW YORK, Jan. 23. A Dutch merchant vessel, reached a Pacific port after a voyage across the Pacific pursued by Japanese warships. The freighter was in a Japanese port when the war started, and sailed immediately. She eluded her pursuers by zigzagging manoeuvres.
