ALREADY DESTROYED.
OIL WELLS IN EAST INDIES. ENEMY’S INTENTIONS FORESEEN. (Roc. 2.5 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 22. It is authoritatively stated in Batavia that all the oil installations and oil wells at Balikpapan have already been destroyed, it being obvious that it is the enemy’s intention to attack Balikpapan with superior forces and take possession of the important oil wells.
